On June 4, our wedding is where it's at! Bah-dum ching! And our wedding will be held at the glorious Camp Dark Waters in Medford, NJ. Located precisely at 26 New Freedom Road (in the 08055 zip code), the camp is about an hour's drive from East Brunswick, NJ and about 40 minutes from Philadelphia. From Roseland, NJ, it's about an hour and 40 minutes. From Newton, NJ, it's just over 2 hours by car. From Arlington, VA, it's a little more than 3 (unless you have a heavy foot, like my brother Steve). From Venice, FL, it's quite a bit farther.
For those of you who are flying in, Philadelphia International Airport is the closest major airport. Newark International Airport is a little less than 1.5 hours away by car. There are also some smaller air fields nearby, like the Flying W and the South Jersey Regional Airport.
While public transportation is not New Jersey's strength (don't hate on the Jerz, people), there are some options for those coming from New York or Philly. Greyhound buses run from NYC to Mt. Laurel, NJ, which is about 10 miles or 20 minutes by car from the camp. Depending on timing, we might be able to help coordinate a ride for you from the station. For those coming from Philly, Camp Dark Waters claims the Transport of New Jersey Bus Line actually stops in Medford... While this seems plausible, we're still trying to find proof of this mysterious bus line's existence... We'll keep you posted.
